KROMĚŘÍŽ

For some reason one town, missing on my list of visited places in my country was Kroměříž.  I checked the weather forecast and I saw that finally it shouldn´t be raining upcoming weekend. I looked at the map and made a fast decision. Lets visit Kroměříž, the pearl of Moravia. The journey from Brno takes approximately one hour. It is an ideal destination for one day trip. VINEYARDS OF SOUTH MORAVIA

Do you also have that feeling now and again, to leave the busy city life and dissapear to a quiet place? Well, I have a cure for that. It is called South Moravia.  And if you like wine, I guarantee, you will have a great time.  This part of the Czech Republic is full of small picturesque villages, long vineyards and cute wine cellars. I like so much to walk around, to watch grapes growing and exploring their shape and colour. I can spend there the whole day. It calms me down and it is a great remedy for stress accumulated from every day busy life. If you feel like tasting some wine, the best and most enjoyable way is to walk through the village and talk to locals, sometimes sitting in front of their wine cellar. Very often they invite you in and before you realize you taste one sample after the other.  The most people from abroad know the Czech Republic for Pilsner beer and the capital  city - Prague. But there is so much more to see and this wine area
