Every person likes to spend their holidays in a different way. You might prefer hiking in the mountains, other person lying on the beach or visiting museums. Naxos offers something for everyone.  The whole island is full of incredible beaches with clear and turquoise water, lovely tavernas with great food and picturesque little mountain villages.   There is a lot of history, the island has more than 500 churches, a temple and museums. Taking advantage of having a car with us, we left every morning and made a trip to a different part of the island. On the way we popped in a village bakery and bought  some lovely tasty pie or cake.  For people like me who don´t like package holidays with all inclusive, this is an ideal  place. No crowded beaches, no high hotels around. The connection with nature is incredible.
